1. Preview for Free or Test for €1.99 — That Is the Guarantee

We know buying software you cannot “hold” is a leap of faith, so we let you verify coverage before committing to a full plan. Previewing and analyzing any ECU file is free forever, our free web tools let you check coverage and checksums at no cost, and you can test full file patching and downloading with our €1.99 25-Hour Real Software Test (which includes up to 10 ECU files plus 3 non-expiring Tuning Credits worth €30.00 at €10.00/credit for Stage 1, Pops & Bangs and E85, and automatically continues on Monthly Basic at €75.00/month after 25 hours unless cancelled before the test ends). Because you can verify coverage and test the real platform first, all purchases and subscription renewals are strictly final once made.

2. All Sales Are Final — No Refunds

Softechpro is a digital, HWID-bound product delivered and activated the moment you pay. For that reason all sales are final: we do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges or cancellations of a paid period, and there is no 7-day or 14-day money-back window. This applies to every product we sell — the €1.99 25-Hour Real Software Test, its automatic €75.00/month Monthly Basic renewal (if not cancelled before the 25-hour test expires), the €19 24-Hour Pass, Monthly and Annual plans, tuning credits (worth €10.00 each, spent or unspent), Cloud Tuning, Dealer API and the HWID change.

An automated patch that cannot be produced for a rare, modified or not-yet-catalogued ECU variant is a normal limitation of ECU software — the app tells you honestly when it cannot do a file rather than guessing — and is not grounds for a refund. That is exactly why the €1.99 25-Hour Real Software Test and free ECU preview exist: so you confirm your vehicle before paying. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; the period already paid runs to its end and is not refunded.

2.1 Buy Only on softechpro-solutions.com

We sell exclusively through softechpro-solutions.com and our own Stripe checkout. We are not affiliated with resellers, “cracked” copies, or third-party sites using our name. If you paid someone else, we have no record of your payment and cannot refund it — contact whoever took your money.

2.2 Immediate Performance & Waiver of Withdrawal

At checkout you expressly ask us to unlock access, credits and Cloud processing immediately rather than after any waiting period, and delivery begins the moment your payment clears. To the fullest extent your local law permits, you accept that performance has started with your express consent and you waive any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right (including any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right) for that delivered digital content and service.

3. Payment Security & 3D Secure

Every payment is processed by Stripe, with 3D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication requested on each transaction. We never see or store your card number. Where your bank supports 3DS, you personally authorise the payment with a one-time code, your banking app or biometrics before it can complete.

That protects you from someone else using your card, and it means a dispute claiming a charge was “unauthorised” is contradicted by the payment’s own authentication record. We retain the Stripe authentication result, timestamp, IP, activation and usage logs, and your acceptance of this policy.

4. ECU Functionality & Compatibility Variances

Modern ECUs vary internally even between identical vehicle models, depending on software version, prior modifications or dealer updates. We cover a very large catalogue, but we do not claim 100% coverage of every software version in existence.

Important — supported does not mean the exact software is already in the catalogue. A brand or ECU family shown as “supported” does not guarantee that we already hold the exact factory software of your specific ECU variant. Our catalogue grows every single day. If the tool does not yet have the exact software for a particular variant, that is a normal, expected limitation of ECU software — not a bug, not a failure, not a defect, and not grounds for a refund. The free trial and free analysis exist precisely so you confirm your exact vehicle before paying; and when a variant is missing, the real path is to send us your original ECU read so our team prepares it manually.

Two habits that protect you as a professional: always keep the untouched original read of every ECU you work on, and verify your vehicles with free ECU preview or the €1.99 test before purchasing.

4.1 Heavy-Duty Trucks Are Not Covered

Softechpro is built for passenger cars and light commercial vans. Heavy-duty trucks, buses, off-highway, agricultural, marine and industrial ECUs (Volvo FH/FM, DAF, Scania, MAN, Iveco, Mercedes Actros, Renault Trucks and similar) are not supported and have never been advertised as supported. Confirm your vehicle is a car/LCV with free ECU preview before buying.

4.2 One Computer Per Licence · PC-Change Fee

Each licence is for one physical computer, bound by HWID. Connecting to your own machine with a remote tool (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP) is fine; a virtual machine reports different hardware and needs its own activation. Moving your licence to a different physical computer costs a one-time €55.99 HWID change, payable self-service from the sign-in screen and applied automatically on payment; because performance is immediate it is non-refundable once applied. Reinstalling on the same machine is free.

ECU or vehicle damage is not a software defect and is not refundable. Writing a file to an ECU is done by you at your own risk. A bricked, non-starting, or damaged ECU or vehicle is a hardware/flashing outcome, not a fault of our software, and is not grounds for a refund or chargeback. Our coverage is for the software and calibration we deliver — not the ECU hardware.

5. Errors on Our Side & Duplicate Charges

Two things we always make right, on our own initiative:

• A duplicate or accidental charge — the one case we refund in cash, in full, always, regardless of when it happened. Write to support@softechpro-solutions.com with your Order ID.
• A genuine failure on our side (an outage, or an activation failure we cannot resolve) that stopped you using what you paid for — we check our own logs and make it right by fixing it, extending your licence for the time lost, or adding account credit. The remedy for a delivered digital product is a fix or credit, not a cash refund.

6. Tuning Credits & Cloud Tuning

Credits never expire and are used for premium services (Stage 1/1+, Pops & Bangs, E85, DAMOS/A2L) or for files beyond your daily plan limit. Credits are not refundable, spent or unspent, and are not transferable between accounts. If a Cloud Tuning job fails on our side, the credit returns to your balance automatically; if it does not, tell us and we return it. Promotional or bonus credits are goodwill: they can change or end at any time and have no cash value.

7. Abusive Conduct, Fake Comments / Defamation, Competitor Scraping & Retaliatory Disputes

We treat every customer with respect and expect the same. Insults, threats, harassment or blackmail — for example threatening a chargeback or a negative review to obtain a free service — are a serious breach of these terms. The same applies, with immediate permanent termination and no refund, to: (a) publishing fake, fabricated, or defamatory comments or reviews on YouTube, social media, automotive forums, or review platforms; (b) creating fake or duplicate accounts to post comments, obtain extra trials, or evade a ban; and (c) using account access, tokens, or engineer-delivered ECU files to build, train, or feed a competing or private tuning software or database. Any such breach results in a permanent ban from all Softechpro services, with no refund, forfeiture of all remaining licenses, tokens, and credits, and hardware/billing blacklisting.

You should not open a bank dispute on a delivered, authenticated purchase. Where a payment dispute is opened, we submit the full recorded conversation, the Stripe authentication record, and proof of delivery and usage to the payment processor as evidence. When a bank resolves such a dispute in our favour — as it routinely does on a delivered purchase you authenticated yourself — the handling fees our processor and your bank charge us (commonly €40 or more) are a cost you created. We reserve the right to recover those fees, to set them against any balance or future order, and to decline further service.

8. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, subscribing or activating a Softechpro licence, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Refund Policy together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and ECU Policy. You accept that all sales are final, that the €1.99 25-Hour Real Software Test and free ECU preview are provided precisely so you can verify the product before paying, and that you waive any statutory withdrawal right for the delivered digital content and services as set out in section 2.2. We retain activation, consent and licence-binding records and present them if a dispute is opened.

9. Changes to Pricing, Plans & Policies

Softechpro may update its pricing, plans, coverage and this policy at any time. Changes are never retroactive: the version of this policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction. Current pricing is €1.99 for the 25-Hour Real Software Test (which auto-renews on Monthly Basic at €75.00/month after 25 hours unless cancelled), €19 for the one-time 24-Hour Pass, €75/€90/€108 for Monthly Basic/Plus/Pro, and €679 for the Annual plan as shown at checkout.
